RECAP 2011

Just a few hours ago, 2011 has left us behind for good. Well, yesterday was my last 23y.o, according to y-o-y. As i grow older, I begin to stop counting the years. Why? because im scared to know if I havent done anything over the years. But hei, denial doesnt get me anywhere. So, lets see some of the highlights of my life in 2011.

Firstly, I graduated with less-than-flying-colors but good enough to qualify for several interviews. Man, those days in uni where money & coffee was never enough. I made some of the most difficult decisions back then. I decided to prioritise, and so my physical health came second after my studies. Within two months prior to finals, I gained about 8kgs. I was heavily dependent on coffee to stay awake. Probably about 6-8 sachets a day, and it went on for as long as I remember. Sure, I gained back some of the weights, but in the end all of the efforts were worthwhile. I never have to work so hard for something,and never in my life I wanted something so badly, so when I get that 2:1.. . suddenly everything starts to make sense. WHEN YOU WANT SOMETHING SO BADLY, THERE WILL BE SOME SACRIFICE NEEDED, BUT YOU WILL FIGURE IT OUT.. SOMEHOW.

Secondly, im employed! After several rejections, heartbreaks, blonde-moment interviews, and frequent travelling to KL, I found myself working in one of the oil&gas companies. I could not thank enough all of my friends who have been with me every step of the way.. attending to my ridicule needs, driving me around for interviews, letting me sleep over at their places, and lastly for morale boost when I need it the most. I bet OTHERS are jealous, they are NOT UR FRIENDS.

Well, I could think of more highlights to write but these would be meaningless if I havent done this one thing. Lets just say, I have some baggage from college ive been carrying around with me. I think its time to settle it once and for all. Hopefully, everything will be done in 2012. Amin.. . Will update u about this.
