seize the day?

i spent the last few days hanging out with my friends. one of them, which i havent met in months! it is good, getting in-touch with people u love, u care, but who knew. . a lot have changed in the past 6 months! we had a long talk ranging from love, relationship and life. i feel connected with him, MOREEEE than i ever felt before. apparently, we share the same philosophy in life, that is: nothing comes easy in life. why? because we both had learned it the hard way.

i wrote before in my previous posts, that just when u thot u know ur friend well, think again because they never failed to amaze you (at least my friends do..) in fact, im actually surprised im surprised? in the past few days, i learned a lot about him and i think im beginning to understand him more, in a way i would never imagined i could. so, whats with seizing the day all about?

along the line, he told me that sometimes he forgot to just live in the present, because he worries too much about the future. i cant blame him, because im the complete opposite (or, i used to be..). its easier to relate with someone when uve been through the same situation, albeit the other extreme. i understand where all his concerns come from, but that shouldnt stop him from enjoying the moment. sure we all have dreams, we all have the i-wanna-be-(fill in the blank)- when-im-50 thing, but THAT is like 30 years to go? well, there is nothing wrong with planning ahead, it makes u stay focus in life. but having a dream is one thing, how do u actually GIVE MEANING to ur dream is another thing altogether.

so, here is a shoutout to my dear friend, H.H.. stop worrying too much about the future dear, and start living ur life now. do what makes u happy, make ur life meaningful and dont deny urself anything because what feels right in ur heart now, is also right for u in the future. everything else u want would just fall into the right places as u live ur life to the fullest. i wish u all the best in life, and no matter what u do in life, u know that i always have ur back. =)
