I value conversation. Sex is just transitory, but some good conversation sticks for good. I love spending time with my friends at mamak or hawker's stall. its like all the problems are set aside, and that WE ARE THERE FOR EACH OTHER.
i notice the choosen topics of conversation get more diverse (mature too, i must say).. during the last mamak-ing session, we talked almost about everything. politics, health, personal issue, relationship, and fashion? yurp, u name it, we've got it all covered. As much as i hate to admit it, oh boys look how far we've come? i feel old already! hahahaha. .
It was a good-quality time, well-spent. have u ever got involved in a conversation for hours and hours, but end up leaving feeling empty as you and your friends part ways? well, i dont.usually, i would feel fulfilled, and there is always something i can take home with..
That is what u get when ur circle is made up of uniquely, individualistic (oh, they come in pair too sometimes.. ) person. each offers their own view, and different perspective to ponder upon. Oh, i would know why - "conforming" isnt exactly what we do best.
You can bet, differences and conflicts come in package. With that, we've had our fair share of arguements, and tears (WE STILL DO, MORE ARGUEMENT, LESS WATERWORK NOW), but through thick and thin, we pulled through. I guess, each of us have so much respect in each other, and no matter what happens, we know (i know..) that we can always go to each other.
So, here is a shoutout to all my friends out there (you know who you are). I HAVE MET SOME AMAZING PEOPLE IN MY LIFE ALONG THE WAY, THOSE HIGH-FLYING PEOPLE IN CORPORATE AND IN THEIR RESPECTIVE FIELD, BUT NOTHING CAN COMPARE TO YOUR MUCH GUIDANCE AND LOVE, THAT WITHOUT FAIL, HAVE AMAZED AND INSPIRED ME TO BE A BETTER PERSON.
Friends, two words: THANK YOU.
