"U look old." Thank You?

Someone said, "well, ur shirts made u look old".. then i replied, "oh, this? thank you.. i like it." Then i laughed at myself. First and foremost, i wudnt mind if people think i look older, because thats a compliment. Secondly, i was in a kampung and no one knows me here, so why should i bother dressing up anyways? Like i said, I have no time to look oh-so-fine ALL THE TIME. I know what is appropriate and know how to dress for the occasions and trust me, i know exactly what i am talking about.

So, im sorry lar i dont look decent all the time and conform to ur ideal. SERIOUSLY?
i have always had issue with people trying to impose their beliefs and ideals to other people.. not just when it comes to dressing up, others things as well such as work-related and personal development. I mean, there is fine line between positive criticism and being plain RUDE and these two only differ just by a matter of individual's degree. So, i need not explain further because then u would just argue yours is different than mine, so im fine with it.

My point is, be more politically-correct and watch what u say.. u'll never know how are they going to affect people. I had to learn this the hard way, and i think im obliged to write this. We live in one big circle, and it sucks to offend people unintentionally, because people do talk and by then u would realise that its just too little too late.

A word of advice: BE NICE TO STRANGERS.
