baby hatch?

"hi. my name is (insert fancy name).. im HATCHED at (insert the hatch centre).. nice to meet you".. i dont know about you guys, but i think this is kindda wrong. its bad enough these babies are not wanted by their irresponsible parents, but now we have to go and degrade them further by contaminating their natural existence with a word "HATCH"? yes, their existence in this world IS NATURAL, given two persons of different gender doing an adult activity (legally, recklessly, or whatever is not the issue here..) the point is, the baby is BORN! it comes from a womb? (ok, my last biology class was 5 years ago, so excuse my lack of knowledge here..) anyways, baby IS BORN, not made, AND DEFINITELY NOT HATCHED FROM SOME HARD-COVER EGG!

i know the very purpose of this so-called baby hatch center is to help them, and THAT i agree. in fact, i am happy that the ministry of women, family, and community development is taking a PROACTIVE measure to combat the issue. I do not wanna argue on the effectiveness of this center, or how this could send a wrong signals to young couples out there as i shall leave that to the opposition, and religious scholars to make their points.

i have issue with the use of the word "HATCH" there.. i mean, imagine the babies get adopted by other families, and in 15 years from now when the babies are all grown up and want to know their truth, WHAT WOULD YOU SAY TO THEM? "oh, i found you in a HATCH?" bluntly speaking. .. so, i have come to know that we are not the 1st country to adopt such measure, and that it has been widely used in other countries for the same purpose.. but why cant we change the name into something more appropriate like "baby BORN center" or something.. seriosuly its not much of the DEEP Oxford-level thinking anyways.. all we need is just a bit of sensitivity and humanity in our mind. . and i dont know about humanity concerns in here.. but IM SURE we, Malaysians are NEVER lack of sensitivity, in any other subjects, so WHY OVERLOOKED THIS ONE?

perhaps its time to really be sensitive on a MORE NEEDY issue..

p/s: i was thinking maybe it has something to do with patented contract? yeah, it could be.. its not like we invented it anyways..
