assumption 101.

i dont asume to know everything of anything. . but with little knowledge i know, i hope to share so people dont do the same mistakes like i did. why? because if u can learn it from other people's mistakes, so why not?

in fact, its faster and less painful. u couldnt ask for more, could you? so, i was telling my little brother to start thinking beyond the school level. i asked him, what did he get for his english, and he (proudly) said, 78%! i said, oh cool. good, but is that good enough? he seems pretty happy with his level right now, and i know its only natural i supposed, considering hes in the 1st class right now at his school. so, i broke the news to him. "sure, u get 78% for ur exam, and i without any doubt, am sure that u'll get an A for ur English.. but can u hold a decent conversation, can u relate with others?" i told him, it takes more than just getting an A to make it big in the future. everything else after the SPM comes down to how good u are at communicating with people, ur personality and attitude. HOW I WISHED SOMEONE HAD TOLD ME BACK THEN WHEN I WAS IN SCHOOL SO I CAN DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT?

so, it wasnt hard to notice that my little brother is lacking motivation on his part. i knew, when i was at his age, i wanted to be something, and so i did what i had to do. unlike him, he seems like he doesnt mind anything at all, and for him, everything is ok? which is really good and im happy that he seems at peace. but u know, if not now, when else? i want him to realise that in order to achieve something, u must want it so badly, that it hurts not thinking about it for a second. THATS how it should go.. a POSITIVE ATTITUDE is one valid currency to propel ur life further, and if it doesnt get developed now, by the time u realise the importance of it.. u r already left behind. that would suck, no?

my point is, people can tell u that u can be great, and they can tell u that u can do everything! but, if YOU dont want it for urself, nothing will work. U HAVE GOT TO WANT IT FOR URSELF FIRST, AND FROM THERE.. THINGS WOULD JUST GO EASY. =)
